  • Happy birthday to Jordan Campbell, Jennaiveve Pinchot, and Serenity Rowland!

 

  • There is tutoring today in the Media Center from 3:00-4:00 pm.  Please join us if you need help with any subject from any grade.  Tutoring is FREE!

 

  • Attention EVERYONE!!  Our Drama Class will be performing their plays on Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Davidson Auditorium.  There is no admission charge, everyone is welcome. Grab your family and come see all of the hard work and talent that is being shown!

 

  • Attention 8th Graders:  8th grade send-off tickets will go on sale starting tomorrow,  Tuesday, May 21st. The cost is $5.00 each, and they can be purchased before or after school, and at the beginning of lunch from Mrs. Vilardi in Room 43.

 

  • Any 8th grade student wanting to Test Out of a High School Course, please come down to the counseling office to get the information and paperwork. The deadline is May 31st. If you have any questions come down to counseling for clarification.

 

  • Sideline Cheer tryouts will be June 11th, 12th, and 13th.  There is a sign up sheet in the main office if you would like to tryout.  Sideline Cheer is open to all current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders. If you are trying out for Sideline Cheer, you must have a physical on file in the main office.

 

  • Attention Outdoors Club members, the field trip permission slips to the Anderson Nature Center on June 3 are in room 33. Please stop by at the end of the day to get one from Mrs. Shiveley or Mrs. Gable. You must have attended at least 2 meetings to attend the field trip. The signed slips must be returned to Mr. Armstrong by May 30th.

 

  • Anyone interested in summer soccer camp, or joining soccer next year at Anderson High School, the flyers have been dropped off, you can pick them up in the main office.

 

  • Will the following students please stop by the main office to pick up your Student Council field trip permission slips:

Santino Barron, Cadince Duvall, Azal Elhady, Courtney Facen, Rachel Gawenda, Destiny Journagen, Haley Worley, Kaylee Sevon, Madelyn Renshaw, Marquez Renshaw, and Madelyn Reiss.

  • Happy birthday to Ashley Stench and Nicholas Oestrike!

 

  • There is no tutoring today because it is Friday.

 

  • Attention all 6th Graders!!  Anybody that still has a Cedar Point envelope to turn in, turn it in RIGHT now!  Last Call!!!

 

  • Attention 8th Graders:  8th grade send-off tickets will go on sale starting next Tuesday May 21st. The cost is $5.00 each, and they can be purchased before or after school, and at the beginning of lunch from Mrs. Vilardi in Room 43.

 

  • The 7th grade baseball team lost it’s last game yesterday at Shumate Middle School.  The Titans trailed Shumate 7 to 1 with 2 outs in the top of the 7th inning and rallied back to tie the game 7 to 7.  Davidson got key hits from Leland Laforet, Luke Anderson, Jordan Jones, Ethan Emans, Jace Walerski, and Hunter Rowland in the comeback. Nolan Prater pitched well for Davidson in relief.  Unfortunately the Seahawks scored in the bottom of the 7th to win 8 to 7. It was a fun year for the Titans.. Great Job!!!

 

  • The 8th grade softball team finished the season with a win over Lincoln Park 6-4.  The Lady Titans finished the season 4-3. Great Job Girls!

 

  • Congratulations to the 8th grade Baseball team for their hard fought victory, by forfeit, over Lincoln Park yesterday.  The Titans were locked in a heated 7-7 tie and ready to rally when Lincoln Park decided to throw in the towel.  The Titans offense was highlighted by Ryan MacDonell’s 2 run home run, Brayden Cammarata’s 2 run triple, and Nathan Jones’s crucial squeeze bunt scoring Eddie Collins for the go ahead run with his heads up base running.  Others with crucial hits were Collin Thomas, Sal Kinser, Tony Ruiz, Eddie Collins, Rogelio Herrera, Nathan Jones, and Fischer Bryant.

Sal Kinser, Tony Ruiz and Collin Thomas carried the Titans with solid pitching efforts.  Coach Mittlestat would like to personally congratulate the entire team for this great win, and an extremely enjoyable season.  Great job Titans!

 

  • There are two more chances to see the Wizard of Oz at Anderson High school this weekend. Shows are tonight and tomorrow at 7. Tickets are just $5 for students and staff.

  • 8th Grade Baseball and Softball players will be released by announcement at 2:35.  When the announcement is made, you will need to immediately change and load your bus to Gerisch.  The bus will leave at 2:45. Do NOT take your time in the locker room. If you are not on the bus, you will not have a ride to your game today.

 

  • 7th grade Baseball and Softball players will change and load your bus immediately after the 6th hour bell rings.

 

  • Good luck to 7th grade Baseball and Softball players at your game against Shumate at the fields behind Carlson High School, and Good luck to 8th grade Baseball and Softball players at your game against Lincoln Park at Gerisch.

 

  • Students, if you would like to attend these events, an adult must be with you.

  • There are no birthdays today.

  • Attention all 6th grade students!  The money and permission slip for the Cedar Point field trip is due tomorrow.  Late permission slips and money will NOT be accepted. Do Not forget to turn those things in tomorrow!

 

  • All Baseball and Softball players change immediately after the 6th hour bell rings and load your bus to Gerisch.

 

  • The 7th grade baseball team swept a day/night doubleheader yesterday against Brownstown Middle School.  Jordan Jones pitched well and hit another over the fence homerun in the first game for the Titans… and guess where it landed?  Yep, the Second Deck!!! Davidson also got key hits from Hunter Rowland and Andrew Porter. Zack Hitchcock closed out the game pitching Davidson to a 5 to 4 win.

 

In game 2, Davidson played small ball and clawed their way back from a four run deficit to win 6 to 5.  Jordan Jones, Logan Riddle, Jace Walerski, Ethan Emans, Andrew Porter, Nolan Prater, and Keegan Jackson had big hits for the Titans in their come from behind victory.  Jace Walerski pitched well in relief and got the win for Davidson.

The Titans travel to Shumate tomorrow for their last game of the year… Go Titans!!!

 

  • Yesterday, the 7th grade softball team played a doubleheader at Woodhaven.

In the first game…they lost.

But, in the second game the Titans came away with a Huge victory by the score of 14-12.  Taylor Mydlarz pitched two unbelievable games striking out 7 Warrior batters and she had a number of great plays in the field.  Great defensive plays were also made by Abby Bumgardner, who played her best game of the season, Abby Allgood, and Kate Grabowski.  Offensively, there were key hits by Taylor Mydlarz, Izzy Heyer, Kate Grabowski, Abby Allgood, and Olivia Paczkowski with a deep double that almost left the yard!   Also, key runs were scored by Aevry Coffman, Karen Sanchez, and Kylie Horner. The game winning RBI came from Destiny Oskarik. The Lady Titans will finish their season tomorrow at Shumate.  Go Titans!
